Get to know the Artist

Hi I'm Kylie Poindexter! Thanks for checking out my website and seeing what I have to offer! I graduated from the Vocational Academy of Makeup and Prosthetics in Orlando, FL where I studied the Professional Modern Effects and Professional Beauty programs. I have also attended Ringling College of Art and Design where I majored in Fine Arts for a year before discovering my love and passion for SFX and Beauty. At both schools, I learned to be a detail-oriented artist, honing my skills with professionalism, craftsmanship and applications. I gained extensive knowledge working with a variety of mediums, skin types and tones and personalities. I love trying new mediums and being able to learn knew things, while meeting new people I can share my love of the arts with. When I'm not making other people look and feel amazing, I'm designing and building new cosplays for myself to showcase at conventions! I love getting to dress up becoming somebody new and seeing people get excited about what I've created.

Being a fan of the macabre and all things spooky, I can adapt and conform when it comes to makeup. From applying full face prosthetics on someone for a film or convention, to getting them ready for their wedding or special event I have the same passion for any art I create!
